Nike, Street Art Through Instagram

Nike’s campaign in Russia merges street art with Instagram fitness photos, turning them into public murals to inspire and motivate the community through digital and urban expression.
We live in a society where fitness is becoming increasingly important in our lives. Feeling good about ourselves, staying healthy, or looking our best in a body-conscious society are the main reasons why we do it. Furthermore, social media is the most used channel to reflect this. Whether it's the drive to improve or achieving what we want through suffering and sacrifice, brands know this.
Today, from our Digital Marketing Agency, Nömad, we’ve come across a campaign that Nike carried out in Russia. Using one of the most rapidly evolving channels in recent years, Instagram, they launched a Street Art campaign with a 'Real Team' strategy. The campaign involved selecting Instagram users who lived for fitness, aiming to motivate society by showing that anything is possible with a bit of effort. The user's photo while exercising was used, turned into vinyl murals on strategic street walls, accompanied by a slogan from the brand nike. The campaign was a great success. The users who were featured in it later uploaded the results to their social media accounts using the campaign hashtag. We highly recommend checking it out!
