Cookie policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files or identifiers stored in the browser or device. Similar technologies may also be used, such as local storage, pixels, tags, SDKs or online identifiers. They are used to remember preferences, make the website work, measure usage, play content, analyse campaigns or show personalised advertising when there is consent.
2. Who uses the cookies
This website is owned by Nomad Room Sociedad Limitada, tax ID (NIF) ESB90220823, with registered office at Fernando IV, 22 Bajo, 41011 Sevilla. You can contact us at legal@nomad.ooo.
This policy applies to the nomad.ooo website and its subdomains, such as docs.nomad.ooo and the app.nomad.ooo application, which share your consent choice.
3. How we manage consent
In the first layer of the banner you can accept, reject or customise your preferences. Non-essential cookies and technologies are not loaded until there is consent. This website applies the following approach: necessary cookies are always active; analytics, including Nömad's own visit measurement, only with analytics consent; marketing and advertising pixels only when you accept all or enable marketing in the settings; and third-party videos never play automatically. Your choice is stored for one year in the nomad_web_consent_v1 cookie.
4. Types of cookies
They enable basic functions such as security, consent preferences, navigation, session or language. They do not require consent when they are strictly necessary.
They help us understand how the website is used, measure performance and improve content, including the visit measurement that Nömad carries out itself. They require consent.
They allow us to measure campaigns, build audiences, run remarketing or activate advertising pixels. They require consent.
They allow videos or third-party resources to be shown, for example YouTube. They may require consent if the third party sets non-essential cookies or processes data for its own purposes.
5. Cookies and providers
Nömad's own cookies
These cookies and identifiers are set by Nömad's own website or application. Those shared between nomad.ooo and its subdomains use the .nomad.ooo domain.
nomad_web_consent_v1Stores your cookie choice (accept all, analytics only or reject) so that it is respected on nomad.ooo and its subdomains without asking you again. A copy is also kept in the browser's local storage. Category: necessary. Duration: 1 year.
nomad_campaign_attribution_v1Remembers how you reached the website (first and last landing page, referring page, UTM campaign parameters and date) so we know which channel or campaign led to a request or a sign-up in the application. Only if you accept marketing does it also include the click identifiers of advertising platforms (gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, oppref) and Meta's identifiers (fbp, fbc). While you browse, a copy is kept in the browser's session storage (nomad_public_campaign_attribution_v1). Category: analytics (advertising identifiers: marketing). Duration: 90 days; it is deleted if you reject or withdraw consent.
nomad_vidRandom visitor identifier for Nömad's own visit measurement. With it we record the pages you visit (path, title, referring page, UTM parameters and time), without storing your IP address or your browser's user agent. It is linked to a person only if you submit a website form or sign in to the application, as explained in the Privacy policy. Category: analytics. Duration: 13 months from the first visit, never extended; it is deleted if you reject or withdraw analytics.
theme, nomad_web_notice_cosmo_nodo_v1, cosmo-nodo:save:v1, cosmo-nodo:controls-seenBrowser local storage entries that remember the light or dark theme, whether you closed the game notice and your progress in the Nödo game. They are not sent to Nömad. Category: necessary (preferences you choose). Duration: until you clear the site data in your browser.
When you use the application, necessary cookies are used to keep and protect your session (sb-…-auth-token), remember your language (NEXT_LOCALE, 1 year), remember a trusted device for two-step verification (nomad_mfa_trust, 30 days), complete sign-in (nomad_auth_pending, nomad_auth_return and nomad_google_oauth_url, 30 minutes at most) and store interface preferences such as sidebar_state or nomad_table_density. Category: necessary. Duration: as indicated in each case or for the length of the session.
External providers
With your consent, the website also loads the following third-party tools, which set their own cookies. The names and durations shown are the usual ones according to each provider's documentation; the exact duration and name of the cookies may vary depending on the provider, browser and configuration.
Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics 4, which measures in aggregate how the website is used. Cookies: _ga and _ga_* (up to 2 years). Category: analytics.
Heatmaps and session recordings to detect usability problems and improve the website. Cookies: _clck (1 year), _clsk (1 day) and others on Microsoft domains. Category: analytics.
Product analytics: page views, clicks and active time; it may record sessions, in which text and form fields are masked. It is served through nomad.ooo. Cookie and local storage: ph_*_posthog (1 year). Category: analytics.
Measures visits and conversions coming from campaigns on Facebook and Instagram and allows advertising audiences to be built. Cookies: _fbp (90 days) and Meta cookies on its own domains. Category: marketing.
Measures, through Google Tag Manager, the requests and sign-ups that come from Google Ads campaigns. Cookies: _gcl_au (90 days) and Google cookies on its own domains. Category: marketing.
Security and anti-spam check for forms, when enabled. It only loads when you start filling in a form and is not used for advertising. Category: necessary.
YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, X, Spotify or SoundCloud, on pages that include such content. See section 6. Category: external content.
No other advertising tools, such as TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Pinterest Tag or X Pixel, are currently loaded. If any is enabled, we will add it to this policy.
6. YouTube and embedded videos
Some pages of the website, mainly in the blog and the works section, include videos and posts from third parties (YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, X, Spotify or SoundCloud). When you open one of those pages, the player or post is loaded from the third party's servers, which may receive technical data such as your IP address, browser, referring page and interaction with the content, and may use their own cookies or similar technologies. Featured YouTube videos are shown in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and third-party videos never play automatically. When you play a video or interact with a post, the third party's policies also apply, such as those of Google/YouTube.
7. Google Analytics, GTM and Consent Mode
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 are only loaded if you accept analytics. The website passes on your preferences through Google Consent Mode v2: until you accept marketing, Google tags run with advertising storage denied and do not use advertising cookies. Google Analytics 4 is loaded only through Google Tag Manager, to avoid duplicate measurement.
8. How to change or withdraw consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the “Customize” link in the website footer, next to the legal links, which opens the preferences panel again. If you withdraw analytics, the nomad_vid and nomad_campaign_attribution_v1 cookies are deleted and the page reloads without the tools you have rejected. Cookies already set by external providers can be deleted from your browser settings, where you can also block third-party cookies or set permissions per site.
9. More information
You can read the Privacy policy to learn how we process personal data and how to exercise your rights.
