Robot Food: craft beers with a vocation

Robot Food’s bold design captures the essence of Vocation craft beer, inspired by John Hickling’s journey to create the beer he truly wants to drink. Each label reflects the brand’s unique personality and attitude.
As new craft breweries gain market share, brand identity becomes increasingly important. The design by Robot Food is as bold as the flavors of this craft beer, which comes from the UK courtesy of John Hickling. John Hickling's story is inspiring. After leaving his job in banking, he sold his house and began creating beers under the name Blue Monkey.
The beer is named Vocation, inspired by John's journey of finding his calling after a long search: to create the beer he wants to drink.
The label designs showcase the brand's full personality and attitude, with each beer style standing out from the others, identified by its own unique design. For example, we have varieties like "bread and butter" or "heart and soul."
The “homemade” style of the labels, which reflects the artisanal and familiar nature of the product; the impeccable typography with angular strokes and the monochromatic tones used, capture the sensitivity and rebellion of the beers, in John’s own style. His beer isn't for everyone, and he likes it that way.
John says: “My vision was to create an uncompromising brand for my beer, and Robot Food proved to be the perfect complement and partner. The results are a clear example of the power of strong design. Cheers!”
Our Digital Marketing Agency would also love to do this kind of creative work. Congratulations on this fantastic job.
