Meta launches Voicebox, the new generative voice AI system

Meta has launched Voicebox, a revolutionary AI project capable of generating speech from text without the need for specific training. This new feature will be available in multiple languages and will allow for:

• Giving voice to virtual assistants and Metaverse characters.
• Producing clips from a 2-second sample.
• Removing background noise from audio.
• Assisting people with hearing impairments.

For now, Meta has announced that Voicebox will not be open-source, due to the potential misuse of this technology. However, they have made the study public to show how this new AI model would work.

Talk of the town

If you're in the social media world, we're sure you've heard about the recent boom of the streaming platform Kick.

Signings like xQC, Amouranth, or Hikaru Nakamura, among others, are helping the Australian platform gain ground on the streaming king, which is now also threatened by the flight of streamers.

At Nömad, we are launching into another dimension

If you've followed our steps on social media, you might have seen the virtual reality session we had with the entire Nömad team.

◾️ First, we did a short presentation on augmented reality vs. virtual reality and how brands are using these new technologies. We also debated the future of VR in advertising and marketing.

◾️ To end the session, we tried some applications and games with the Meta Quest 2. We had a blast!
