FAQ
Model Context Protocol, an open standard for AI assistants to connect to external data and tools. Brand OS uses it so your assistant works with your brand’s real context.
Yes. Connectors are authorised with your account and respect your role in each brand; without an account there is no access to the context.
Only what you authorise: the context of the chosen brand and, depending on the plan and the connector capabilities, the status of work. Every query is logged and you can revoke access whenever you want.
It is in development and coming soon. We will publish the capabilities of each plan here as soon as it goes live.
Every capability shares the same brand context, projects and decisions.
More and more work happens inside an AI assistant or a tool of your own. MCP and API connectors let that work carry your brand context without copy and paste: you authorise a connector from your Nömad account and, from then on, Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP-compatible client can consult your Genome and your work with your permission.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants use to connect to external data sources and tools. Brand OS exposes an MCP server your assistant connects to with your account, so answers start from your brand’s real context instead of a description pasted into the chat.
The connection is always personal: each user authorises their own connectors with their Nömad account and only for the brands and capabilities their role allows. You can limit a connector to one brand, give it an expiry date and revoke it at any time. Every query is kept in an activity log with the capability used and the outcome.
The first level of capability is reading context: Genome, Kit and the status of work. Higher plans will extend what a connector can do, up to requesting work from the assistant itself, with the same limits and prices as in the app.
If you prefer to build it yourself, every account can create managed API keys with specific scopes, stored encrypted and never shown again. With them your tools can read your brands securely, and approved agency workspaces get an API of their own.
MCP connectors are in development and coming soon. When available, you will enable each one from your account and brand settings, and you will see here the capabilities included in each plan.
