Sharing our intentions

Nömad rejects information overload and embraces #SuperInspiration. The agency reflects on how originality and thoughtful content can transform digital communication.
We don't want information overload.We want #SuperInspiration!
Do you know what happens on social media in 24 hours? On Facebook, more than 3.5 billion posts are created every day and nearly 2.6 billion “likes”. This represents more than 500,000 GB of information. On Twitter, more than 400 million tweets are sent daily. On Instagram, 500 million photos are uploaded every single day. As for YouTube, the social network receives 100,000 hours of video every day. And we could go on with a long list of other digital platforms. Doesn't that seem absolutely crazy to you?
What is happening? Welcome to information overload! But, from the perspective of advertising and communication agencies, is this really what we need? To over-inform? To be over-informed?
Scrolling through your feed and seeing that all your competitors share the same post on their social media, a day earlier or a day later, is a sign that something is not right. It is a sign that there is no careful selection of the content you are going to offer your followers. It is a sign that the only thing that matters is getting more “likes” with uninspired posts. Posts that make you laugh for 30 seconds and are then forgotten, left in the junk drawer of Facebook or Twitter memories.
And precisely, from Nömad, and in one of those outbursts we sometimes have at the studio about how to be simply different, we realized that information overload was exactly what we didn't want to fall into. For that reason, we gave our social media a “vacation” to reflect on what we really wanted to do.
We want to make people think.
We want to serve as a benchmark for future generations of advertisers and designers.
We want to create intelligent controversy.
We want to bring a smile with the originality of our work.
We want to be liked and disliked.
Because we want feedback to keep improving and because we want to move from information overload to SUPERINSPIRATION.
How? You just have to keep an eye on our next moves. Happy day, Nömads!
