Spanish canned food brand Potorro has quickly gained popularity on social media through witty humor and a catchy name. Their viral slogans and clever marketing have made them a standout in the gourmet preserves market.

This Spanish canned food brand has pulled off a masterclass in wit and humor. Less than two months ago, a new gourmet canned food brand hit the market. Jams, virgin spring salt, artichokes, and baby fava beans, all under a name that injects fun into their products and has made the brand popular among social media users: POTORRO.

And for those of you already thinking the wrong thing: according to the RAE, a 'potorro' is a container used to serve salt. However, the cheeky name has allowed them to play with double meanings in their posts, leading to viral slogans such as, «Feel the flavor of a good Potorro in your mouth» or «Eat a good Potorro!».

Can you imagine what product they are planning to release next? Yes: lupins, or as they are popularly known in Spain, 'chochos'. We can't wait to see the copy they use for that launch.
