Gamification: an ally for your brand

Did you know that video games can teach us valuable lessons on how to capture and hold an audience’s attention?🎮 This is something many teachers already know, as they rely on game dynamics to keep students engaged during classes. However, many brands have discovered the value of gamification and are using this strategy to connect better with their customers, which translates into more sales.
On Twitt…(sorry) X, we talked a few days ago about the new campaign from Domino’s Pizza Spain, which applies gamification to promote their new pizza. This strategy has numerous advantages, such as:
💍Increased engagement: users interact more when they feel part of an adventure or challenge.
🌟Brand loyalty: game elements can make customers return, building a stronger relationship with the brand.
🚀Virality: gamification can help create experiences that become a phenomenon on social media.
📊Useful data: every interaction is a metric that we can analyze to better understand our audience.
In case you’re already thinking about how to apply gamification to your project, in our latest article we share 7 ideas for dynamics to inspire you.
The Latest

Meta considers launching a paid version for its social networks in Europe
Meta could launch a paid version for Instagram and Facebook with the goal of “calming the concerns” of European regulators regarding privacy and the use of user data. Subscribers to this paid version won’t see ads, though free, ad-supported versions will still exist.
This move comes after Meta has faced significant sanctions in Europe, including a record fine of 1.2 billion euros from the Irish Data Protection Commission. The company has also had to adapt its strategies to comply with strict EU privacy regulations, which have impacted its main source of revenue: advertising, which accounts for 97% of its business.
Although the idea of a paid version could alleviate some tensions with the EU, Meta has not yet officially announced this plan or given a launch date.

Google renews Android’s visual identity
Android, the mobile operating system owned by Google, has presented its new features and, among its news, a change in visual identity is coming. The goal is to better represent its community of developers, devices, and users. “As an open platform, it is important that both our technology and our brand are an invitation for people to create, connect, and do more with Google on Android devices,” the company stated on its corporate blog.
These are the three most relevant changes to its new visual identity:
◼️Android will start using the same typeface as Google.
◼️The logo incorporates a capital “A”.
◼️The famous Android mascot will now have more presence in the brand, highlighting its three-dimensional effect.
