Instagram introduces new Story features like collaborative stickers and creative tools to boost user interaction and offer more customization options.
LinkedIn celebrates its 21st anniversary
LinkedIn, the social network for networking, marks two decades of evolution from a simple professional contact network to becoming an integral platform for content publishing and online learning. This growth includes key moments such as its initial public offering in 2011 and its acquisition by Microsoft in 2016, which marked a major boost in its development and expansion.
To mark its anniversary, GfK DAM, an audience measurement company in Spain, conducted a study revealing an increase in its popularity among mobile device users. It also highlights the diversity of its active users, ranging from students to high-level executives. Regarding the best times to post on the platform, working hours stand out, especially between 1 PM and 6 PM, and the best day for activity is Friday.
At Nömad, we join the celebration by taking a look at the evolution of this and other social networks over the last few years.
We tell you all about it here.

Apple presents news in devices and artificial intelligence

Apple has announced the «Let loose» event, where significant launches of new iPads are expected, including models with the innovative M4 chip that would boost advanced artificial intelligence capabilities. In addition to the updates to the iPad Pro, the introduction of a new size for the iPad Air and the presentation of the latest generation of the Apple Pencil are anticipated. This event, which will be held in New York, Toronto, and London simultaneously, is especially notable for its proximity to the annual WWDC event in June.
This decision seems to be influenced by two main factors. Firstly, the upcoming WWDC will focus on artificial intelligence, highlighting operating systems that work independently of connections to external servers, which improves speed, personalization, and privacy. Secondly, the inclusion of advanced AI features in their devices, which would begin this autumn, requires more powerful chips, such as the new M4 chip in the iPad Pros, as revealed by Bloomberg. This anticipates a major AI integration into devices, including improvements in applications like Siri.
