A UCLA study reveals most people cannot accurately draw their favorite brand's logo from memory. An experiment at Times Square further illustrates how our brain simplifies visual details of familiar logos.

If we asked you right now to draw your favorite brand's logo, would you know how to do it exactly as it is? Probably not.

A study conducted last year by UCLA, involving 85 students, concluded that only one of them managed to draw the Apple logo perfectly.

Why do you think this happens? It is about how our brain functions, which, in order to be efficient, does not store all the details, colors, etc., of the images it sees.

To test this experiment, the guys from Adweek went out into the street and asked different people walking through Times Square to draw the logos of Nike, Coca-Cola, and Amazon, among others. Take a look and give us your opinion.
