Believing is creating

Our civilization seems to be collapsing in slow motion. As all beliefs fade away like sugar cubes, liquid life has called into question the consistency of great ideas. Therefore, we are forced to individually restore our own identity. Man faces a state of loneliness and helplessness that requires a leap into the void: it is time to believe in oneself.

Are we in a moment of crisis or rebirth? The spirituality of the Mayan culture offers us a valuable teaching through one of the main maxims that guided their civilization: Believing is creating.

This is not something far-fetched. We are not the first to look back to find the necessary keys in other primitive cultures to understand ourselves. In this way, the Mayans endowed their children with a creative faculty and a worldview with which to live in harmony with the Universe.

With a new perspective, anyone can change everything. What we believe is impossible, is so because we effectively categorize it as such. What we understand as beautiful or ugly, true or false, can cease to be so if we believe it to be. We can be capable of reconstructing the reality that surrounds us.
